Low-Voltage and Audio/Video

Whether expansion, retrofit, or new construction, our expert team makes cabling and audio/video (A/V) projects work the first time.

The cabling that runs over ceiling grids, behind walls, and into racks and servers is the artery that keeps a business running. Although electricians are experts in power transmission at high voltage for power outlets and lights, low-voltage cabling takes a different skill set. From CAT6 and fiber to speaker cables and HDMI distribution, AITS has experience with a variety of low-voltage projects.

Fast, efficient networking requires a well-designed backbone. Different devices and conditions can require different cables and terminations. When it comes to copper cable for example, CAT6 is good up to 100 meters (324 feet) for standard 1 gigabit network traffic, but 10 gigabit traffic only works for shorter distances with CAT6 and can require CAT6A or CAT7 depending on the distance and application. For longer distances, AITS can run fiber cabling to cover your facility from end to end.

A/V projects require expertise to custom design the right solution for your business. Conference rooms can be outfitted with whole-room videoconferencing systems. Waiting rooms, lobbies, and even exam rooms can have custom content interspersed with news, weather, and sports. Background music can help both entertain and provide the benefits of white noise. Restaurants, bars, and event venues can have flexible multiscreen and multizone controls that can be adjusted on the fly.

AITS can help your business with any low-voltage project from concept and design to implementation and ongoing support.
